When I was training for my second half marathon last year I knew I had to figure out a way to meet my time goal while running a course with hills. During my training, I was getting exhausted while running hills and found it to be more and more challenging to go the distance. I was certain that I would probably not be able to run that race.
Thank heavens the organizers sent out this article on how to effectively run hills. It was a life saver! I ended up not only completing the race but I did so only 10 minutes longer than it took me to run a flat course. EnJOY!
There is more than one way to succeed at anything so run your own race. The only person you have to be better than is the person you were yesterday.
